It is a broad spectrum systemic protective and curative fungicide. It inhibits the development of germ tubes, formation of appresoria and the growth of mycelia by inhibiting cell division. Mancozeb is a dithiocarbamates and affects the nervous system through their main metabolite, carbon disulfide.
